The Experience Museum – the koziolStory
The Experience Museum tells the fascinating story of koziol – from its beginnings in 1912 to today's award-winning design. The exhibition impressively shows how the company has always adapted to its times – and how everyday products are always a reflection of their era.
You will discover historical pieces from the Gräfliche Kunsttöpferei (Count's Art Pottery), fine ivory jewelry, essential items from the war years, charming souvenir brooches from the economic miracle era, and of course, many contemporary design classics. The mix of original objects, stories, and zeitgeist makes the tour exciting for all age groups.
Interactive Stations
Each station represents a different epoch in the company's history and is designed and atmospherically recreated to match that specific time. Many areas are interactive: you can operate levers and buttons, start conveyor belts, listen to music, or listen to interviews with contemporary witnesses. This way, history is not just told, but experienced.
A Look into Production
At the end of the tour, a view into current production opens up. Here you can see live how modern koziol designs are created – from granules to the finished product.
The museum is open on weekends and holidays.

A look at the production
If you've always wanted to know how our products are made, then you've come to the right place!
We produce all of our collections exclusively at our company headquarters in Erbach.
And you can see it for yourself right here on site!
At the end of the museum tour, the visitor platform awaits you, from which you can take a look into our production hall.
Entrance fees
Adults: 3 Euros
The admission ticket can be redeemed as a voucher in the shop for purchases of € 15 or more.
Pupils/Students/Seniors: 2 Euros
Children under 12 years old are admitted free (only when accompanied by an adult)
Groups
Groups of 10 or more people: 2 Euros /person
Family ticket: 10 Euros (2 adults + children aged 12-16)
OPEN MUSEUM TOUR
Open tours take place every Saturday at 4 PM.
As places are limited, we kindly ask you to inquire or make a reservation in advance. You can also try your luck and register on site at short notice.

GUIDED TOURS FOR GROUPS
Of course, group tours are also possible by individual appointment.
If several tour guides are required per event, the tours will take place in small groups with slight time offsets.
For a valid booking, all appointment requests must be reconfirmed by Koziol and the offer sent by you must be accepted.
Prices for groups up to 25 people:
- Individual tour* € 45,-
- Foreign language tour* in English or French flat rate € 50,-
- School class tour incl. admission € 55,-
