koziol is certified in several areas of its business. It has been awarded the "Assured Sustainability" seal of approval, which assesses comprehensive sustainability in the areas of ecology, economy, and social competence.
koziol is also certified according to SEDEX, ISCC and IFS.

The company and its production have been climate-neutral since 2021. The company achieves 70% of this neutrality through CO₂ emission reductions achieved through its own measures. The remaining 30% is offset through intelligent reforestation of an existing forest on Rügen with new, climate-resistant tree species and the maintenance of the existing forest.
