Where and how is MUKK produced?
Thanks to our in-house production, we produce quickly, resource-efficiently, and above all, transparently. The entire value creation takes place in one location, so all processes are seamlessly traceable. Our "Guaranteed Sustainability" seal of approval confirms that we take ecological, economic, and social responsibility seriously. In addition, we are IFS certified – for the highest food standards. SEDEX and SMETA guarantee compliance with strict labor guidelines.
Is microplastic generated during production and use?
No. All plastic waste generated during production is collected by color and sent for professional recycling. Even all packaging materials in which the material is delivered are collected and recycled.
Microplastics are plastic particles smaller than 5 mm. These are formed when plastic weathers, breaks, or is abraded through heavy use. Improper disposal in the environment also often plays a role.
During normal use of reusable tableware, it can be assumed that no particles are released. koziol also consistently does not use additives such as plasticizers or hardening agents.
The impact of microplastics on the environment is indeed a problem that we take very seriously, which is why we handle our materials with great care.
Why choose reusable plastic tableware?
Plastic tableware is lightweight, extremely practical and easy to use, and above all break-resistant. This makes transport, storage, serving, clearing away and washing enormously easier, and above all, the risk of injury is eliminated.
The decisive advantage is the low processing temperature during manufacturing of max. 180°C. For comparison: metal, glass or ceramics are processed at temperatures between 800°C and 1,500°C.
What drinks is MUKK suitable for?
MUKK is perfect for both hot and cold drinks. The high-quality plastic material provides excellent insulation, keeping mulled wine, coffee, or tea pleasantly warm for longer.
